Napoleon's personality and deeds cannot leave anyone who deals with history indifferent, especially if their interests are focused on military events.
Many years have passed since 1992, when we, a group of friends from Milan, devised a "new" system to recall the Napoleonic epic with 15 and 25/28 mm miniatures.
It was a constant and collective development, which, week after week, led our group, the Eagles, to write down and then change, improve and refine, a set of simple rules, which over time have become increasingly refined, in constant comparison with the results of History. Tests followed tests, consisting of imaginary encounters or, often, historical simulations of great battles: Austerlitz, Jena, Borodino, Ligny, Waterloo and many others…
Everything worked, even if… and here we are again, improving the system, until the final result, which led us to reach our French friends in Paris and have them try it; the result was absolutely comforting and led us to publish the second edition in English.
